My Philosophy

I am a photographer by trait and a hopeless romantic in my everyday. I pour my soul into creating images that will bring your heart back into that moment for years to come. I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere that allows you to be you and I promise to make you laugh with corny knock-knock jokes. What I love most about photography is showing you that your story is a fairytale. My babies have brought out my sentimental disposition, there’s no guarantees I won’t shed a tear as the bride walks down the aisle while her dad beams, a mom and dad hear the cry of their newborn for the first time or a mother looks on proudly as her baby is already taking senior photos. I would describe my style as authentic, joyful and romantic. I strive to add a modern flair to a vintage feeling and I love documenting love… in fact; I’m a little obsessed with it.

In my own love story, I am married to my utterly handsome high school sweetheart- he is the very reason that I firmly believe in soul mates. We have three beautiful children who keep our hands full and our hearts exploding. Completing our little family is our (spoiled) dog, Tucker. My little family, love for God and belief in fairytales are the reasons I smile everyday.

A little about me… I am a midwest mom with southern bell charm. My life is a beautiful chaotic mix of sippy cups (sometimes filled with orange juice for the little ones and other times filled with wine for me), black and white photos, never ending list of craft projects, and sparkles- lots of sparkles. I would define myself as a wanna be hipster with a very girly wardrobe. I firmly believe one can never own enough sequins, shoes or burlap. I love DIY projects, snow, and coffee. I am obsessed with holidays, large and small, we decorate for them all and have special traditions associated with each one and I spend my free time watching Harry Potter or on Pinterest.

Each person who comes in front of my camera, I consider family. Our lives are a story and every day we are living our happily ever after’s… I’m excited to put the pictures in your pages.
